A Day of Community and Conservation at Garibaldi Park
We, the Pacific Northwest Outdoor Association, were excited to be part of a joint effort by the Friends of Garibaldi Park, the British Columbia Mountaineering Club, and Garibaldi Park rangers to spend a wonderful day trimming brushes on Diamond Head Road.
From the parking lot to Red Heather, our team worked tirelessly, cutting high, low, and wide to ensure the trail is clear and accessible for all. The camaraderie and shared sense of purpose among the volunteers made the day both productive and enjoyable.
This collaborative effort not only helps to maintain the natural beauty and accessibility of Garibaldi Park but also fosters a strong sense of community among outdoor enthusiasts and conservationists.
As we wrapped up the day’s work, there was a palpable sense of accomplishment and anticipation in the air. We can’t wait for the next adventure, knowing that our hard work will enhance the experience for all who visit this beautiful park.
Thank you to everyone who participated and made this day a success. Here’s to many more days of giving back to the natural spaces we love!
