FEATURED Q3 HIGHLIGHT
Mount Robson & Berg Lake Trail
One Mountain · Many Groups · One PNOA Community
Among all the adventures this summer, the Mount Robson / Berg Lake Trail trips stood out as one of the largest and most memorable PNOA activities of 2026.
Rather than being a single trip, the Mount Robson adventure was organized through multiple groups on different dates, allowing more members to experience one of British Columbia’s most spectacular mountain landscapes.
With approximately 100 participants in total across the different groups, Mount Robson became one of the biggest PNOA outdoor activities of the year.
Standing beneath the towering peaks and glaciers of Mount Robson, members shared more than miles on the trail. They shared early mornings, long climbs, changing weather, beautiful views, tired legs, laughter, encouragement, and the unforgettable feeling of reaching the destination together.
The success of these trips would not have been possible without the dedication of our volunteer leaders, assistants, coordinators, and every participant who contributed to a safe and positive group experience.
Mountains bring us together.
The journey makes us stronger.
And the memories stay with us.
THANK YOU TO OUR VOLUNTEER LEADERS
PNOA would like to extend our sincere appreciation to every leader, assistant, coordinator, volunteer, and participant who contributed to our Q3 activities.
Leading an outdoor activity is much more than choosing a trail. It requires preparation, communication, safety awareness, responsibility, patience, and a willingness to care for others.
To every leader who shared their time and experience:
Thank you for leading the way.
To every participant who joined, supported others, followed safety guidance, and helped create a positive group atmosphere:
Thank you for being part of the PNOA community.
Our activities may take us to different mountains, lakes, rivers, and trails, but we are connected by the same spirit of mutual support, friendship, and love of the outdoors.
PNOA MISSION & VISION
Our Mission
PNOA is committed to bringing people together through outdoor activities, promoting healthy living, outdoor education, safety, friendship, and community service.
We believe that the outdoors should be a place where people can learn, challenge themselves, connect with others, and experience the beauty of nature in a safe and responsible way.
Our Vision
Our vision is to build a welcoming and inclusive outdoor community where people of different backgrounds and experience levels can explore together, support one another, and make a positive contribution to the community.
We believe in the spirit of:
Mutual Help · Caring Family · Community Service
Whether we are hiking a mountain, paddling a river, riding a bike, learning a new outdoor skill, or volunteering in our community, we hope every PNOA experience brings people a little closer together.
Together, we explore.
Together, we care.
Together, we grow.
PNOA 2026 Q3
Thank You for Being Part of the Journey
The third quarter of 2026 gave us 32 activities and 439 participant attendances, but the numbers tell only part of the story.
Behind every number are people.
People who volunteered their time.
People who encouraged a new hiker.
People who shared their outdoor knowledge.
People who helped someone through a difficult section of trail.
People who made a new friend.
And people who simply came out to enjoy nature together.
That is what makes PNOA special.
Thank you to all our leaders, volunteers, members, and participants for making Q3 2026 such a meaningful season.
We look forward to creating more adventures, more connections, and more memories together.
See you on the trails!
