Whistler Happy Ski Camp Apr 6-7, 2024

With a frosty paradise in April, a group of thrill-seekers embarked on a journey to Whistler for the Happy Ski Camp organized by PNOA. The group intended to foster awareness of the risks associated with skiing and snowboarding to make sure participants have the safest, and most enjoyable experience possible while outdoors. With over 30 adventurers eager to conquer the slopes, the camp was divided into various skill levels, including snowboarders, beginners, intermediates, advanced skiers, and even those preparing for their CSIA Level 1 Instructor certification.

Under the guidance of experienced CSIA/CASI instructors, each group set out to tackle the mountains, filled with excitement and anticipation. From the gentle slopes for beginners to the challenging terrain for the advanced skiers, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

Throughout the two days, laughter echoed through the snowy peaks as friendships were forged and skills honed. Whether gliding gracefully down the slopes or bravely attempting new tricks, every participant felt the rush of adrenaline and the joy of accomplishment.

As the sun set on the final day, memories were etched into hearts, and smiles adorned faces. It was a ski trip to remember—a safe, happy, and perfect adventure shared among kindred spirits amidst the breathtaking beauty of Whistler’s snow-covered peaks.

Special Thanks to Sue Q, Tim, Lisa, Elton, Yuki and Michael for leading the groups.
