On July 18, 2026, PNOA proudly hosted our annual Multi-Event Day, one of our long-standing traditions that brings members together through a variety of outdoor activities. Approximately 68 participants joined this year’s event, making it another vibrant and memorable gathering for our outdoor community.

Although the day began with morning rain, the weather gradually improved, and the afternoon sunshine created perfect conditions for everyone to enjoy the outdoors. Smiles, laughter, and teamwork could be seen throughout the day.

This year’s Multi-Event Day featured five activities designed for different interests and experience levels:

Cycling
Led by Timothy, members enjoyed a scenic ride while exploring the local trails together.

Hiking
Led by Li Wan (Lao Wan), Paul Tan, Victor Guo, Lisa Peng, Allan Liu, Mandy, Yang Liu, and Hong, hikers were divided into several groups with routes suited to different fitness and experience levels, allowing everyone to enjoy a safe and rewarding adventure.

10 km Lakeside Run
Led by Yan Yi and Susan, runners completed a beautiful lakeside route while encouraging one another every step of the way.

Stand-Up Paddleboarding (SUP)
Led by Michael Lin, Rick, Yolanda, Bai Shui, Yan Ruyu, Paul Tan, and Elson, paddlers were grouped according to their SUP experience. As the weather improved during the afternoon, more participants joined the water, creating a lively and energetic atmosphere.

Logistics & Volunteer Support
Led by Yolanda, Sherry, Lisa, Shirley Tong, and Yan Ruyu, the logistics team worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure every activity ran smoothly and safely.

A heartfelt thank you to all of our leaders and volunteers for their dedication and hard work. Special thanks to Yan Yi and Paul Tan for securing the venue, and to Shirley Tong and Yan Ruyu for organizing the fun games and activities that brought even more laughter and connection to the day.

PNOA’s Multi-Event Day is more than just an outdoor gathering—it celebrates friendship, teamwork, volunteerism, and our shared passion for exploring nature together.

Thank you to everyone who participated and volunteered. We look forward to seeing you at our next adventure!

How do you measure tread depth on your tires?

  • Chief 3-2-1 Peaks Via Slhanay Peak Trail
