2025/11/09 PUMP PEAK DAY HIKING

Pump Peak features spectacular 360 degree views and is consistently one of the most popular hiking destinations on the North Shore. This heavily trafficked trail is relatively easy to follow with a clearly defined path and well placed markers. Elevation increases consistently throughout, with several steeper areas which may be somewhat challenging for newer hikers. Terrain is notably rocky over most of this trail, which is generally unshaded with only a few short sections under forest cover.

The final viewpoint at Pump Peak offers both great city and backcountry mountain views, with the closer mountains being visible on even a cloudier day. Parking is located next to the trailhead at the main lot for Mount Seymour Provincial Park.
