SUMMARY:Whistler Kees and Claire Memorial Hut
DESCRIPTION:>>  About the event\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n  \n\n\n\nItinerary \n\n\n\n\nAug 12 – Leaving home to Whistler and sleep in the Kees and Claire hut\n\n\n\nAug 13 – Leaving hut to Roundhouse and taking gondola down Whistler village and back to home\n\n\n\n\nThere are two routes to Kees and Claire in the summer.  \n\n\n\n\nMusical Bumps: Follow the Musical Bumps trail either from the top of the Peak Express Chair or from Roundhouse Lodge at the top of the Whistler gondola. You’ll need to purchase a sightseeing lift ticket for the day to be able to access the lifts. Musical Bumps is about a 9.5km hike each way from the peak and 10.5km from Roundhouse lodge. \n\n\n\nSinging Pass Trail: This trail starts from Whistler Village and as such has a lot more elevation to tackle than the above option. This hike is around 14km and 1450m elevation.\n\n\n\n\nThe Kees and Claire hut is pretty luxurious. It’s set over two storeys with sleeping quarters on the lower storey and a kitchen\, dining and seating area upstairs. There’s also a boot and equipment room to dry things off and 3 composting toilets.  \n\n\n\nIn the kitchen area\, you’ll find four stoves as well as all the cookware and dining equipment you need (cafetieres\, bowls\, plates\, cutlery etc). There are also some separate stoves and pans for melting snow in the winter season since there’s no drinking water available.  \n\n\n\nIn the sleeping area\, the bunks are split out into separate rooms (without doors). Some rooms sleep 4 and others sleep 6 with two double bunks and 2 single bunks. There are cubby holes to store your gear in too. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMeeting Spot\n\n\n\nWhistler\n\n\n\n7:15 am – Add the meeting time here\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDestination\n\n\n\n Kees and Claire Hut near Russet Lake\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n>>  Requirements\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSleeping bag\n\n\n\nOne night ( two day) food and supplies\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n>>  Register & Ticket\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTicket price: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n>>  Attendees\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n.event-tickets .tribe-tickets__rsvp-wrapper {\nmargin: 20px 0 60px 0;\n}\n\n.kt-row-column-wrap {\n    padding: 0 !important;\n}\n\n.tribe-events-schedule__date {\nfont-size: 16px;\nfont-weight:600;\n}\n\n.tribe-events-schedule__time {\n    font-size: 16px;\n}\n\n.tribe-block__venue {\n   border-top: none;\n   padding: 0;\n   margin:1rem 0 0 0;\n}\n\n.tribe-block__venue .tribe-block__venue__meta .tribe-block__venue__address\, .tribe-block__venue .tribe-block__venue__meta .tribe-block__venue__phone\, .tribe-block__venue .tribe-block__venue__meta .tribe-block__venue__website {\n    color: #858585;\n    font-size: 13px;\n}\n\n.kb-row-layout-id_b9ac49-6b > .kt-row-column-wrap {\npadding-top:0;\npadding-bottom:0;\n}\n\n.tribe-block__organizer__details {\npadding: 0; \nmargin:1rem 10% 0 10%;\nborder-top:none;\ntext-align:center;\n}\n\n.tribe-block__organizer__details p {\ndisplay:none;\n}\n\n.tribe-block__venue .tribe-block__venue__meta {\n    margin: 0 10%;\ntext-align:center;\n    padding-bottom: 16px;\n}\n\n.single-tribe_events .tribe-blocks-editor .tribe-events-schedule {\n    border: none;\n    margin: 10px 10% 15px 10%;\n    padding-bottom: 15px;\n}\n\n.single-tribe_events .tribe-events-event-image {\n margin:0; \n}\n\n.single-tribe_events .tribe-blocks-editor .tribe-events-single-event-title {\n    font-size: 42px;\n}\n\n.single-tribe_events .tribe-blocks-editor .tribe-events-schedule .tribe-events-schedule__datetime {\n    text-align: center;\n}\n\n.tribe-block__events-link {\n    padding: 20px 0;\n    display: flex;\n    justify-content: center;\n}\n\n.tribe-block__event-price {\n    font-family: var(–tec-font-family-sans-serif);\n    padding: 0 0 10px;\n}\n\n.wp-block-columns {\n    margin-bottom: 0; \n}\n\n.wp-block-kadence-column {\n    justify-content: center;\n}\n\n.tribe-block__event-price {\n    padding: 0;\n}\n\n.event-tickets .tribe-tickets__rsvp-actions .tribe-common-c-btn {\nbackground-image: linear-gradient(45deg\, #6EC1E4\, #126782);\nborder-radius: 10px;\n}\n\n.event-tickets .tribe-tickets__rsvp-wrapper {\nborder-radius: 10px;\nbox-shadow: 5px 5px 10px 1px rgba(0\, 0\, 0\, 0.2);\n}\n\n.tribe-events-event-image img {\nheight:500px;\n}\n\n.vertical-line { \n    border-left: 4px solid #333; \n    height: 100%; \n    position: absolute; \n    left: 50%; \n    top: 0; \n} \n\n@media (max-width: 767px){\n.tribe-common .tribe-common-h2 {\n    font-family: Roboto;\n    font-size: 20px;\n}\n.single-tribe_events .tribe-blocks-editor .tribe-events-single-event-title {\n    font-size: 22px;\n    line-height: 26px;\n}\n\n.tribe-events-event-image img {\n    height: 200px;\n}\n\n\n.kb-svg-icon-wrap svg {\n    height: 0.8em;\n    width: 0.8em;\n}\n.kt-block-spacer {\n    height: 30px;\n}\n\n.single-tribe_events .tribe-blocks-editor .tribe-events-schedule {\n    margin: 10px 10% 0px 10%;\n    padding-bottom: 0px;\n}\n\n.single-tribe_events #primary .tribe-events-schedule {\n    background: none;\n}\n\n.tribe-block__venue {\n    margin: 5px 0 0 0;\n    flex-direction:row;\n}\n\n.tribe-block__venue .tribe-block__venue__meta .tribe-block__venue__name h3 {\n    line-height: 1;\n    margin:0;\n}\n\n.tribe-block__venue .tribe-block__venue__meta {\n    padding-bottom: 2px;\n}\n\n.tribe-block__organizer__details {\n    margin: 5px 0 0 0;\n}\n\n.content-style-boxed .content-bg:not(.loop-entry) {\n    margin: 0;\n}\n\n.tribe-link-view-attendee {\n    margin: 0;\n}\n\n.event-tickets .tribe-tickets__rsvp {\n    padding: 20px 0 !important;\n}\n\n.event-tickets .tribe-tickets__rsvp-attendance {\n    margin-top: 0 !important;\n}\n\n.event-tickets .tribe-tickets__rsvp-actions {\n    margin-top: 20px !important;\n    padding: 20px 0 !important;\n}\n\n.tribe-block__attendees {\n    margin: 0;\n}\n\n#tribe-events-content a\, .tribe-events-event-meta a {\n    font-size: 14px;\n    font-family: roboto;\n    font-weight: 400;\n}\n\n.tribe-events-sub-nav li a {\n    background: none;\n}\n\n.tribe-link-view-attendee {\n    font-size: 13px;\n}
